Archaeologists Dig for Clues Program
The Center for American Archaeology will be here to teach us about archaeology. The program will include Storytime and a hands on activity sifting through “trash” to determine what we can learn from artifacts.

Upcycled Bookmarks
Let’s use some discarded book pages and craft items we have in the library to make some unique bookmarks!
July 5th
The Library will be closed in observance of the Fourth of July. We will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, July 9 at 10 am.

Drop in to the Youth Department at the Library between 10:15 am and 12:45 pm. There will be Craft Chopped Kits available to make a unique and individual creation. The most unique creations will win a prize!
Save the Planet Comic Strips
Have you ever wanted to create a comic book? Create and publish your own story about how to save the planet on preprinted comic strip panels.

Drop in to the Youth Department between 10:15 am and 12:45 pm to check out the Ozobots and how they work!

Wildlife Prairie Park Program
Wildlife Prairie Park will be here to share 5 animal ambassadors of different classifications and their unique qualities.
Guess How Many?
Stop in between 10:15 am and 12:45 pm and guess how many pieces of candy there are in the candy dispenser. The closest guess will take home the dispenser and all the candy inside!
Puzzle Piece Canvas Art
This week we are reusing puzzle pieces to create beautiful trees on canvas!

Egg Carton Turtles
Let’s reuse old egg cartons and transform them into cute sea turtles!
Nature Scavenger Hunt
Drop in between 10:15 am and 12:45 pm to complete a Nature Scavenger Hunt in the Youth Department and pick a small prize!

Come help us plant a few seeds and flowers so we can watch them grow throughout the summer!


Library Closed
The library will be closed all day, March 20th due to a staff training. We will reopen for normal business hours on Friday, March 22nd at 10 am.
Read Across America Day
Today is Read Across America Day (and the birthday of Dr. Seuss!). Drop in any time between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm to read a book, make a craft, and pick out a book to take home.
Stuffed Animal Slumber Party Pickup
Pick up your stuffed animal from the library between 1:00pm and 7:00pm. Hear about the slumber party adventures and complete a craft with your stuffy before taking it home!
Stuffed Animal Slumber Party Drop Off
Drop your stuffed animal off at the library for a slumber party between 12:00pm and 5:00pm.
Library Closed
The library will be closed Tuesday, December 26th through Monday, January 1st for the holidays. The library will reopen on Tuesday, January 2nd at 10 am and will resume normal business hours.
